I have made the following improvements over the commercial CD
The unprocessed CD is in the wrong absolute phase. This means that as the air vibrates, the air pressure goes up when it should go down, and vice versa.
The unprocessed CD has a slight misalignment in the timing between left and right channels, as well as different amounts of phase shift in left and right channels.
The unprocessed CD has just as much dynamic range compression as the original LP. I have expanded the dynamic range to produce sound that is more lifelike.
If you are impressed by the sound quality of the MP3 audio that plays on this web site, you will be blown away by the sound quality you can enjoy with 24 bit WAV files. I strongly urge you purchase your own copy of Columbia/Legacy CK 47482, and use the same tools I used here to render your own 24 bit WAV files. Here is a link to a Reaper Project file into which you can insert tracks ripped from your own copy of the CD.
